About Us

The Imperial Valley Emergency Communicaitons Authority (IVECA) is partnered with the San Diego County Regional Communications System (RCS) to provide public safety voice and data communications to more than 200 local, state and federal agencies in San Diego and Imperial counties. IVECA was formed in 1995 to provide secure interoperable communications to all public safety and service personnel in the Imperial Valley.

In 2021, board meetings will be held January 28th, February 25th, March 25th, April 22nd, May 27th, June 24th, July 22nd, August 26th, September 23rd, October 28th, November 18th and December 9th. The IVECA Board is currently made up of:
